"The greater the power, the more dangerous the abuse"-Edmund Burke January 18th, 2021

When it comes to power, I tend to connect it to several other fields like leadership, politics, and economics. From my experience, power makes people more responsible but this does not happen always. Having said that, many people take advantage of the power that has been given to them by others. This is also what is called "the abuse of power". History has shown that power can be dangerous and has resulted with the loss of many lives of people. Some of the most powerful figures in history who held significant power are Hitler, Stalin, Lenin, and Mussolini. All these leaders have similarities when it comes to the ways they held their power. However, a good leader is one who knows how to manage the power in his hand and to delegate/distribute it to the ones who hold less. For people who hold power it is important to know that as much as it is a privilege to own power it is also a duty and a responsibility that must be executed well.
