How to Pitch a Brilliant Idea March 10th, 2021.

The video that I have linked above is a great idea of a pitch. Many of us find the ideas we have great but the struggle is to turn them into a successful pitch. Most of the times it takes lots of effort to turn one's idea into an accepted pitch. I would say that when people are passionate about what they are pitching, that helps them show confidence and somehow build trust with the listener. The video linked is a short pitch of Brightweel which pitches a product, in this case an app, in order to help parents to stay connected to what their kids are learning or doing at their school during the day. Some of the elements that make this pitch a good one are the confidence of the presenter, you can tell he is passionate about the app himself as he also drew from his experience of the app with his daughter. There are very little elements of robot talking as the presenter does not show any emotion and he seems pretty straightforward.

However though, he displays images and short videos to support his pitch and he is more of an artist type of pitcher. Another positive element to point out is that, the presenter successfully answers to all the questions of the "jury" even though they tried to catch him unprepared or make the app itself seem unrealizable.
